Evidence · Method · QA

Trust should come from traceability—not from confident wording.

Trusta separates source evidence, customer statements, modeled values, assumptions, hypotheses and unknowns. Paid deliverables are designed to expose the reasoning and uncertainty behind a recommendation and to pass a defined quality gate before client release.

Review marks

Three labels with intentionally narrow meanings.

The labels describe Trusta's own process and evidence handling. They are not third-party certification or regulatory approval.

TRUSTA REVIEWED

Artifact QA completed

Used when the paid artifact passes the applicable content, factual-consistency, arithmetic/table, scope and unsupported-claim review.

TRUSTA METHOD v1.x

Versioned method applied

Used when a defined Trusta method or scoring framework was followed and the required method checks passed. The version identifies the internal decision method applied; it does not imply outside certification.

SOURCE-LINKED

Item-level source support

Used only where a fact or value is directly traceable to reviewed source evidence. Customer statements, estimates and modeled outputs remain separately labeled.

Evidence states

What kind of statement are you actually looking at?

StateMeaningHow Trusta treats it
Source-linked factSupported by reviewed evidenceCan support a material conclusion subject to source quality and scope
Customer-statedProvided by the buyer/user but not independently verifiedUseful input; clearly distinguished from independent evidence
Modeled estimateCalculated from inputs/assumptionsShows basis, range and sensitivity where material
AssumptionRequired premise not yet establishedVisible and testable; never silently converted to fact
HypothesisPlausible explanation or opportunityRequires validation evidence before stronger claims
UnknownMaterial information is missingRemains unknown; triggers a gap, clarification or narrower conclusion
Release gate

What a managed deliverable must survive before release.

Evidence check

Can every material claim be traced to its source, customer statement, calculation or explicit assumption?

Logic check

Do scores, calculations and recommendations follow the stated method and tie to the decision question?

Scope check

Did the artifact answer the purchased question without pretending to cover more?

Claim check

Are unsupported certainty, guarantees, misleading credentials and maturity inflation removed?

Decision trace

A serious output should show how the recommendation was reached.

For material findings, Trusta aims to preserve the chain from evidence → interpretation → assumption/model → recommendation → validation need → outcome. This evidence discipline is a shared layer across assessments, ORBIT, YIELD and other decision products.

Evidence lineage

Source IDs, evidence dates and evidence state stay attached to the finding rather than disappearing into prose.

What would change the answer?

Where uncertainty matters, the output identifies the measurements or documents most likely to change the recommendation.

Outcome feedback

When implementation is tracked, actual results can be compared with the original recommendation and forecast rather than treated as a new story.

Important boundary

A Trusta mark describes process quality, not regulatory authority.

Unless separately and explicitly established, Trusta review marks are not legal certification, government approval, audit assurance, accredited education, professional engineering stamping, cybersecurity certification or a guarantee of savings, revenue, funding, eligibility or compliance.
